Take note of the following memo from the CFF regarding the Montreal World Cup registration requirements:

This email is to inform you that you can now register for the Fencing World Cup being held in Montreal, May 29-30-31. Indeed, registration period for selected athletes is now over. Thus, alternates (you) can now register online until May 7, 11:59pm, Eastern Standard Time, by clicking on the following link: http://www.fencing.ca/competitions/2009montreal_conditions.htm
Please note that it is not necessary that you know your FIE licence number to complete the registration form (if you don't know your licence number, simply enter your date of birth in the box). It is however mandatory that you order an FIE licence, as this licence is required to compete. To order a FIE licence, simply click on the following link: http://www.fencing.ca/licence_checks/licence_check_fie.htm.
We ask that you disregard the May 1st deadline indicated on the CFF website to place an FIE lience order. We only ask that you order your FIE licence at the same time as you complete your registration form (so you don't forget), and BEFORE May 7, so we have enough time to process your order before the World Cup.
I would also like to remind foil athletes that the new FIE masks with conductive bib are required for this competition.
Finally, ALL athletes need Maple Leaf crests sewn on the legs of their uniform. To order crests, please visit the CFF boutique at the following address: http://www.fencing.ca/boutique.htm  (allow 2 weeks for delivery).
I invite you to contact me if you have any questions. I know this is a lot of information at the same time!

Have a good day (and a great weekend),
