Fun Fencing Related Event in February

Posted on Dec 15, 2010, by Laura Kostur

Hi All,

Ever curious about the history of fencing? As fellow fencing enthusiasts I thought you might be interested in an upcoming event, the Vancouver International Swordplay Symposium (VISS). VISS is running February 11-13 and has lectures, workshops and seminars on Western Martial Arts.

Check out the full list of workshops, and more information on the VISS website.

Also take note that the rates for the event increase as of January 1st and space in the intensives tracks are limited; so if you're thinking about coming, now is the time to reserve your spot.

An up-to-date schedule for the Vancouver International Swordplay Symposium is now online! All of our intensive track and individual workshop times are posted, along with their descriptions, to help you plan your days at VISS and get the most out of the instruction on offer. Pick from a variety of workshops, select a pair of intensive tracks, or mix and match some of each--the choice is yours. All intensive and workshop classes will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings between 9am and 1pm, and in the afternoons between 3pm and 6pm.
